Geumsan Village Rice Straw Bales

The only two surviving photographs from a bicycle ride through Geumsan Village. It would probably be better to walk through the hamlet so I can find interesting subjects more easily.

This photo looks very low resolution on WordPress but fine in Lightroom. Maybe I made a mistake when converting it.

The same bales of rice straw from a different angle and a bus flying down the highway.

Some time ago I wrote about choosing the Nikon D810 as my main camera but mentioned that I was very wishy-washy about the cameras I use. Well, that proved to be true because I’m back to using the X-T3. The photos above are from the X-T3. That said, my next post will have a photo from the D810. Probably I should just stop talking about cameras . . . .

  1. I really like them, and especially that top one there. Great depth and nice composition, and a nice job keeping their attention so you could get your picture before they ran off :))

I see you mention cameras. I don’t think you have been speaking a lot about cameras lately, at least not compared to me. I got two posts in a row looking at nothing else now, but you have probably noticed that already anyway.
I’m done now, for a long time I think. There’s more fun stuff to talk about besides cameras anyway.
I might look at something else for the next post. I’d like to see if I’m able to make a short one… or two. I just did one, so I might be able to make two as well for all we know.

  2. Thanks for the compliments. I suppose I haven’t talked about cameras as much as someone doing camera reviews. I like your camera reviews, by the way, even though I have no plans to buy any new film cameras.
