This bridge is just something to make the riverside park a bit nicer. It connects the park’s two halves. There is a heart in the river made of the same stones.
There is a proper bridge fairly close by if you can’t use this one.
I think I’ve seen a similar picture before but without any people on the bridge. It’s a nice idea for getting across a shallow bit of water. It’s also pleasing to the eye.
The flat stone bridge is a nice idea – sadly in Britain you’d probably find about 30 supermarket trollies impeding your way – it’s not as bad as it used to be, but you still find them in the strangest places.
That’s one way to make a cheap bridge! If you’re elderly or disabled do you have to take the long way round? Or is there a ‘proper’ bridge?

Thanks. I’ve got quite a few photos of this bridge now, I think.

I like these shots of the ‘bridges’, Marcus. I think the person or persons add to them.

Thanks. I am leaning towards the photo with no people in at as my favourite, but the photo with the single person in it is not bad.

There’s as much garbage in the river as you’d like, but delinquints here haven’t caught on to stealing shopping carts yet.
