I’m not sure how people get on this small fishing boat. It’s not tied up at the dock. It’s anchored next to the breakwater and difficult to get to from land. Maybe someone drops the fisherperson off every morning in another boat.

Don’t what they do there, but here at home, most fishermen who moor their boat off without a draw line to haul it in, have a small punt ( some have a dory, but that’s mostly on the south coast ) to row out to their main boat and moor off the punt while they use the larger one.

That’s probably what happens here, though this one is hardly bigger than a rowboat.
